LUCKY IN LOVE AROMA OIL

FALL IN LOVE!

Sweet juicy fruity notes of orange, blackcurrant, nectarine give this fragrance a happy, light-hearted feeling – while zingy bergamot & pink peppercorn are uplifting.

Jasmine, plum, musk, patchouli and cedarwood base notes complete the fragrance. You’ll fall in love with the combination of uplifting fruit notes, balanced by cedar & musk & a little spice in between.

This is an exquisite scent experience – very ‘wearable’ and lovely in every room – Lucky in Love was inspired by a fragrance by Ed Hardy.

Lucky in Love Aroma OIl.

A reconnection with a much-loved scent – in a very surprising place.

Why did I call this Aroma Oil Lucky in Love?

Good question. Let me tell you!

Years ago I worked in the retail beauty industry – I was GM at a major Pharmacy Group who are leaders in the fine fragrance & prestige cosmetics arena. I was right in the thick of the beauty brand owners.

I was gifted MANY fragrances as launch samples.

That’s actually what got me hooked on this whole Aroma Journey. Weirdly, I feel a blog coming on about this.

Fragrances are constructed. Notes are put together to create scents that evoke emotions. This is the basis of aromatherapy.

The olfactory system has a direct line of communication into the part of the brain that regulates emotions and memories.

Research indicates that smells can influence actions as well as mindset. The sense of smell in humans is profoundly underrated.

Well – back to Lucky in Love and the fragrance samples.

The one fragrance that I totally loved was an Yves St Laurent one called In Love Again. It was in a really cool bottle with a lid that has a stained glass window effect. It was a limited edition – way back. Maybe last century. Definitely, before I had children pinching my stuff all the time…

Lucky in Love was fruity and bright. I bought as many bottles as I could find. My friend Deidre and I hoarded that stuff lol.

Well, years later, it’s all gone and YSL were true to their promise of only releasing In Love Again once.

Then I found this Aroma Oil, which is inspired by an Ed Hardy fragrance called Luck and Love.

Notes are bergamot, blackcurrant, orange, nectarine, plum, sandalwood, jasmine, patchouli and pink peppercorn (which delivers a rounded out rose-like note).

It’s curiously nice. Blended with Passionfruit and Nectarine – it came super super close to In Love Again, and thus – the Aroma Oil Journey has reconnected me with the one fragrance I fell in love with many years ago #happystoryends

I selected this flower image for Lucky in Love because it is pretty and because this flower has little pink hearts all through it xx.
