Moringa Healing Salve – Backstory.

Following the launch of Moringa Healing Balm, it became apparent that, while the Balm is super effective – and lovely to use, for some areas of application (and for some people), a fragrance free version would be a good idea.

It also became apparent that some areas require a softer texture – so an unscented Salve seemed like a logical solution.

The Salve is also helpful for itchy dog skin (and really good for dog skin for that matter).

By virtue of the fact that Moringa Healing Salve has more moringa oil in it per gram than the Balm, it also became apparent that it is relatively more ‘active in resolving inflammation, which is an awesome bonus in some situations where the Healing Balm suppresses itching, but not for long enough.

There is definitely a place in the Collection for the Healing Salve (albeit without the awesome fragrance).

The next level up for acute and extreme inflammation/itching is Moringa Healing Serum – which does contain a low level of essential oil and is very effective for skin that has been damaged by radiation treatment, become very fragile due to age or medical conditions or showing very significant inflammation. It takes the itching, swelling and inflammation down in a few days.

Moringa is rich in key vitamins A & C – both skincare heroes. The balm also includes shea butter (itself an anti-age ingredient) and Vitamins B3 & B5 – for smoother, calmer skin. This is a fabulous combination for improving skin texture & firmness generally.

All our diffusers use 100% non toxic parts and many are made of natural substances (metal, glass, ceramic). Those parts that are plastic are non toxic ABS plastic, that is easily recycled.  ABS is used in toys, including LEGO blocks. Diffuser water chambers are made of polypropylene.

Delivery: We use NZ Post's Courier Post signature only couriers. These are (week days) overnight North Island and 1 - 2 days South Island. Rural Deliveries, while often meeting the non rural standards, can take up to 3 days. Courier to Australia take 3 - 5 days by standard courier, or can be door to door with DHL Express Delivery. Orders placed before midday are usually dispatched on the day of the order (Monday - Friday). People often comment on the prompt delivery.

If you have questions - any question at all is welcome. We are easy to contact (based in Auckland). We don't allow pickups, simply because we don't have a provision for this at our premises.

Ultrasonic Diffuser Technology

Ultrasonic essential oil diffusers use a specially designed technology designed to split water into microparticles – combining the oil and distributing it into the surrounding area on a cool mist. Because the water does not at any time become warm, the integrity of the essential oil or aroma oil is held, and the diffuser is completely safe around young children and animals.

Mist distributes fragrance into surrounding spaces, but – more than that, negative ions in the mist neutralise mould spore and some odours, leaving a fresh smelling and feeling room before the Aroma Oil is released.

When using essential oils, we recommend 5 – 8 drops per water chamber.

When using Aroma Oils, we recommend using one drop only.

Diffuse on intervals as required for best results.

Sandalwood essential oil with geranium essential oil infused into apricot kernel oil & jojoba oil for nourishing daily skin treatment.

The combined properties of the pure ingredients in this serum can help boost skin hydration & add nourishment & glow to a dull complexion.

Hydrating Serum is pure gold for dull, tired-looking complexions. Using the natural hydrating powers of sandalwood & geranium essential oils infused into apricot kernel & jojoba oils.

Ingredients:

Apricot Kernel Oil. One of the best hydrators for mature skin, apricot kernel oil helps soften & reduce fine lines, while also boosting hydration & radiance.

Jojoba Oil. The most readily accepted oils for human skin due to its close chemical resemblance to human sebum. Jojoba oil absorbs fully and easily, bringing other ingredients with it.

Geranium Essential Oil. Geranium essential oil promotes microcirculation, aids the healing process, and helps normalise sebum production – bringing a healthy balance to the skin. In addition, geranium essential oil helps bring emotional balance.

Sandalwood Essential Oil. Promotes skin elasticity & supports fibroblast cell health, encouraging both collagen and elastin synthesis & health – strengthening underlying skin integrity & helping to reduce both lines & sag.

To use the brightening serum:

  • Cleanse and dry your skin.
  • Apply water based active serums first, ensuring they are well absorbed.
  • Pat or tissue dry your skin to ensure the surface is ready for your oil serum.
  • You will only need a few drops for each application. Massage well into the skin using upward sweeping motions until the oil is well absorbed.
  • Apply any moisturiser cream that you prefer to use (sparingly) as the final step.

You will find you don’t need moistuiser when you use this product regularly. The purpose of moisturising is not to add moisture to your skin, it is to prevent water loss. As the days and weeks travel by, you will find you need moisturiser less. Use the Brightening Serum sparingly, and ensure it has fully absorbed. Any residual product can be used on the backs of your hands!

Make sure you apply the serum to your neck also!

When we ship via DHL, we opted to make a contribution to carbon credits with each parcel sent in the Go Green programme, because we believe every effort counts.

100% Non-Toxic Parts

All our diffusers use 100% non toxic parts and many are made of natural substances (metal, glass, ceramic). Those parts that are plastic are non toxic ABS plastic, that is easily recycled.  ABS is used in toys, including LEGO blocks. Diffuser water chambers are made of polypropylene.

All diffusers come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. If you have a concern about the operation of your diffuser, just contact us and we'll investigate, repair or replace. We give you plenty of advice on how to make the most of your diffuser, and we've sold hundreds and hundreds of them.

Delivery: We use NZ Post's Courier Post signature only couriers. These are (week days) overnight North Island and 1 - 2 days South Island. Rural Deliveries, while often meeting the non rural standards, can take up to 3 days. Courier to Australia take 3 - 5 days by standard courier, or can be door to door with DHL Express Delivery. Orders placed before midday are usually dispatched on the day of the order (Monday - Friday). People often comment on the prompt delivery.

If you have questions - any question at all is welcome. We are easy to contact (based in Auckland). We don't allow pickups, simply because we don't have a provision for this at our premises.

Ultrasonic Diffuser Technology

Ultrasonic essential oil diffusers use a specially designed technology designed to split water into microparticles – combining the oil and distributing it into the surrounding area on a cool mist. Because the water does not at any time become warm, the integrity of the essential oil or aroma oil is held, and the diffuser is completely safe around young children and animals.

Mist distributes fragrance into surrounding spaces, but – more than that, negative ions in the mist neutralise mould spore and some odours, leaving a fresh smelling and feeling room before the Aroma Oil is released.

When using essential oils, we recommend 5 – 8 drops per water chamber.

When using Aroma Oils, we recommend using one drop only.

Diffuse on intervals as required for best results.

Do you have the stock ready to ship?

What is the difference between aroma oils and essential oils?

Aroma oils are from natural bases and also contain synthetic notes to build a specific fragrance. Essential oils are 100% pure. Both have therapeutic properties.

Your diffuser comes with a 12 month warranty. We ask that you send us a photo or short video in the first instance. If we need to replace it, we may occasionally need to substitute with a similar item if the item you purchased is not presently in stock.

Are your essential oils & blends pure?

Yes! Our essential oils are 100% pure. We create and bottle the blends locally. On occasion, we create custom blends for customers, and we are always adding to the blend range.

What is the difference between aroma oils and essential oils?

Aroma oils are from natural bases and also contain synthetic notes to build a specific fragrance. Essential oils are 100% pure. Both have therapeutic properties.
